Once again we had a dry Saturday morning for the visit of Castlebar and Westport to the Convent Pitch for a Mini Rugby blitz. In a very sad week for Rugby all age groups honoured the memory of Anthony Foley with a minutes applause or a minutes silence.

We had 170 kids playing between  the 3 clubs. Great competitive rugby was played by all teams.

The U10 girls were also training and were very successful in getting first pick of the buns and biscuits!!!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make the blitz such a success. Special thanks to the ladies for feeding all players, coaches and parents. Also special thanks to the coaches who give so much of their time to train the kids.
