The Colts Boys Mini Rugby teams travel to Carrick-On-Shannon RFC on Saturday (10th December) to play in the first mini rugby blitz between the clubs. The blitz starts at 10:30AM and buses (€5 per person) to Carrick-on-Shannon will leave from the Train Station Car Park at 8.30AM sharp to arrive for 10.15AM. Games are scheduled to finish by 12pm and we expect to return to the Train Station Car Park at approximately 2PM.
The mini rugby girls teams will train on the Convent Pitch at usual time of 10-11.15AM
Carrick-on-Shannon have requested that all Colts Boys Mini Rugby players and coaches arrive by 10:15AM latest. At 10.15AM there will be a blitz briefing session for coaches. Parking is not permitted on the narrow road in front of the grounds. There is plenty of parking at the pitch and Carrick-on-Shannon have requested that traveling supporters follow directions from the stewards who will be in attendance.
The weather forecast on Saturday is for cool and dry conditions. Can we ask parents to ensure their son comes dressed appropriately for the weather and brings a change of clothes. Like ourselves Carrick-on-Shannon do not have a club house, so refreshments will be served at the IWCA centre.
