Its Tag rugby league time again and once again there is a great demand for places. Like previous years we have to limit participation to 14 teams due to pitch restrictions and resources. Below is a survey we would like all tag players to fill out to help us gauge what players want from the upcoming league that we will run throughout June and July. This feedback will help the league improve each summer.

The start of our tag rugby league is only a few weeks away so it is now time to get you team entries in to us. If you already have you team sorted then please email info@claremorrisrfc.com with your team name, team members, team colour and which league you are entering.
If you want to be on a team then please email us or let us know at training on Wednesday nights that you are looking for a team.
We hope to run two leagues this year. One social league, will be the same as last year where teams will play for the Cup, Plate, Bowl etc and one proper fun league where teams will play each other each week but the emphasis will be on fun and enjoyment. The league will start at the end of May with the final night for both leagues scheduled for Friday July 26th.

Well done to the blue team who won our one Tag rugby blitz in Carramore on Sunday. The team captained by Evelyn Sheerin also had Maurice Prendergast, Adrian Joyce, Brid Mullins, Michael Gleeson & Damien Meehan on board.
It was a great day of Tag rugby and we would like to say a HUGE thanks to all the other players who participated on the day. Also big thanks to Helen and all in Forde’s pub for their hospitality once the games were done and dusted.
The U14′s are in the Connacht Plate final this Thursday 25th against Sligo RFC. Players should be in Ballyhaunis at 6pm with kick-off at 7pm. Any questions or if you need a lift contact Pearse 087-9427598
The club offer their condolences to Gerry Walsh and his family on the death of his father Patrick Walsh. Gerry has helped the club in a number of sponsorship capacities since we were formed in 2009. Our thoughts are also with his sons Brandon & Liam who have represented the club so well since they became playing members.
The U14 plate final has been postponed until Thursday evening with time and venue to be confirmed.
