U11’s Half-time Show at Connacht Rugby vs. Dragons

It’s also a big day the boys U11 team who are off to Sportsground in Galway to play at half-time during the Connacht Rugby V Dragons RaboDirect PRO 12 game. There will be a bus for the U11 players leaving the Local Car Park in Claremorris at 2.15pm to arrive in Galway for 4pm. The players will participate in the pre-match parade, will be members of the guard of honour welcoming the Connacht and Dragons teams onto the pitch and play a mini rugby game at half time against another of the visiting U11 teams. The bus home will leave the Sportsground at 7:15pm and is estimated to arrive at Flames Restaurant Claremorris at 8:30pm where the players will be treated to some food. We are asking parents to pick-up their sons from Flames at approximately 9:00pm.

Please Note

All traveling players are asked to wear their Colts playing gear (Shirt, Black Shorts, Red Socks & Windcheater) for the parade, the guard of honour and the mini rugby match on Saturday. As there are no changing rooms available before or after the match can all players be changed into their Colts gear before getting on the bus and wear warm waterproofs/tracksuits/hats which can be taken off on arrival at the Sportsground in Galway.  The players are also advised to bring a drink and a snack to eat during the game and it is strongly advised that each player brings a change of clothes especially if the weather is wet on Saturday.
